Happy March! This post is a little late, but tbh the best sellers from Feb are still the best sellers from last week! haha so it works! Minus the adorable yellow top I’ve been wearing on repeat- see pic below!👇🏻☺️🌼
A note on the best sellers- I tested both Walmart & Target lace sneakers (the Walmart lace sneakers have been a best seller by a land slide) BUT I’m sad to say that the Target ones are a lot comfier than the Walmart ones for me! That said, I think it’s mainly bc my feet are a tad on the wider side- the Walmart sneakers are a little too narrow. 🥲 That’s my only complaint, so if you have normal feet you should be fine bc the Walmart ones are WAYYY cuter! 🫶🏻

Outfit details:
🌼must have butter yellow scalloped top: I’m wearing a small in the pic above- butter yellow is still the "it" color and imo this is the perfect trendy spring addition to your closet!
🩵jeans: I'm wearing a 0, these fit tts for me (I'm usually a 0-2) I cannot believe these are already on clearance for $10!! I'm seriously shocked! I’ve been wearing these non-stop! They fit like your fave American Eagle jeans back in the 2000s- cute back pocket placement and all!! The length is there too (32.5in) for us tall girls! (Walmart jeans have never been long enough for me but they finally started coming out with tall girl jeans and I’m so excited!)
🩰pink ballet sneakers: 8.5, these fit tts for me and are super comfy!
🧺woven purse: I loveeee this purse, I’ve been taking it everywhere - (when I don’t need my mom purse of course.) Woven purses are IT for me!! I’ve been wanting them to come out with a cream/white version for years now and they finally did!
p.s:
TMI for anyone wanting to know 😉
I know been a MINUTE on my website and I’ve been a little distant on IG. Despite the craziness of 2025, tbh, I’ve felt a little lost the past couple of years navigating motherhood, trying to balance ALL the things, and trying to please the IG algorithm (it’s exhausting) 😂. I lost a lot of my motivation bc it’s felt like I’ve just been trying to "keep up" rather than floating in the exciting creative space it was when I first started my page. Back then, hardly anyone was sharing walmart finds and it was exhilarating that my ideas were new, fresh and going viral. I took the dip in the algorithm/engagement personal- thinking it was my fault/I was lacking something.
It’s taken me awhile to figure out everything and really, just get out of my own head ( a work in progress 😅) I’ve really been feeling clarity though & that my creativity is back. I feel like I have a renewed confidence of just being me & sharing the ideas I have, like I used to. I feel like I’ve really been learning who I am now, as mom version of myself, I know my style and what I want to share with the world- rather than questioning it like I have been these past few years. (I’m sure I’ll question things in the future but hopefully not as much!) It’s so easy to listen to the critics and get off track trying to please everyone. I’m one that always wants to be open to critiques and willing to make changes where needed but ultimately, listening to the wrong critics left me questioning too many things, comparing myself to everyone else, not posting and feeling lost all together- a never ending spiral that really zapped me. So all that to say, I feel more like 2017 CheapChicFinds Malyri than I have in the past several years with a lot more humility/some maturity and I’m excited. ☺️
Hopefully you'll feel that my spark is back too. You can expect my curated walmart & target finds, Disney movie nights ( a couple here & there- Aladdin is up next and I'm so excited to see my ideas come to life), I have a couple ideas for new content too (diys & crafts every so often), my life in stories: day to day things, recipes, a little bit of motherhood & my amateur gardening adventures mixed in!
thank you for still being here with me! 🩷
