my fave fruit salad

I've been making this super easy fruit salad for several years now! After the first time I made it, it became my go-to! It's so yummy and so simple to throw together. I love that it's light, refreshing, and made with only natural ingredients. It's my go-to recipe for get togethers and parties in the spring and summer. It's also really easy to duplicate if you are making it for a bigger crowd. Everyone that tries it LOVES it and always asks for the recipe! It's the honey lime dressing that really sets it off. I can't take the credit though. I found it on Pinterest years ago and have been making it ever since! :)

Fruit Salad with honey lime dressing

*watch a video of me making it here

ingredients:

• 1 pint of strawberries

• 1 pint of blueberries

• 1- 1/2 lbs of green grapes

• 2-3 limes (grab 3 if they are small)

• 1/4 cup honey

** feel free to add more of your fave fruits! I think mango & watermelon would pair so well with the dressing!!

recipe:

Wash and dry all of your fruit. (This will keep your fruit salad from being watery and having too much juice in the end.) I like to pat them dry with a towel, but you can also use paper towels. Cut the off stems and chop strawberries into bite size pieces ( about 1.2 inches or so) and add them to a large bowl. Add in the washed & towel dried blueberries and grapes.

Slice the limes in half and squeeze the juice out into a small bowl. You want 2-3 tablespoons of lime juice. PROMISE me you won't use bottled lime juice! It's NOT the same at all. Add in 1/4 cup of honey and whisk together until well combined. Pour the honey lime mixture over your fruit and stir it all together. Cover and set in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving to let all the flavors meld. Mix together one last time before serving since the juices like to sit at the bottom of the bowl. Serve & enjoy!! :)

If you make this I would love to know what you think!!

I love this fruit salad! I also found it on Pinterest a few years ago. I just made it for Mothers Day brunch. I didn’t have the blueberries so I subbed with black berries & it was delish!!
